As Britain changed rapidly around her, she taught us that whatever the challenges we face, the value of service, dignity and high standards always endures. And that is why the obvious love for the late Queen is displayed in Britain and elsewhere.

Around the world, people are united in mourning and celebrating her life. This togetherness is a reminder of what she achieved. A reminder of our shared values. Values which we all wish to retain.

So, as this second Elizabethan era comes to an end, we will gain our inspiration from the values the late Queen embodied. We will seek to meet those standards ourselves and encourage those around us to meet those standards as well.

For seventy years, Elizabeth II stood as the head of our country. While she may now have physically left this earth, in spirit she will continue to live within us all.
