What does an Enhanced DBS Check show?
Reports both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and final warnings. It also includes details of arrests or other police involvement that did not result in a conviction, along with relevant non-conviction information, such as incidents of violent behaviour or misconduct, sourced from the Police National Computer (PNC).
Eligibility for an Enhanced DBS Check:
Reserved for employers hiring for positions that involve working with vulnerable groups, such as children or adults in care settings, roles that require a high level of trust, and volunteer positions.

Employer invites candidate via email/SMS to complete Enhanced DBS Check

Applicant digitally completes the information needed for the DBS check

Applicant follows link in invitation to download Spotlite app and log in (Spotlite is also available as an API to integrate in your existing systems). Applicant completes a liveness check, scans documents and collects information required for the selected check.

Employer Submits the Application

The employer submits the completed application form, including all required personal details and role information, via the Spotlite dashboard.

Spotlite automatically retrieves Enhanced DBS certification

Spotlite automatically reads and validates the Identity documents. It highlights risks and provides you with a Certificate, an Audit trail and great MI - returning all info to your Agent Portal.
